My favorite book for grief is the Greif Recovery Manual, I have used this both in groups and individual work. The book itself is a quick easy to read book with specific steps to take to help you recover.
Many people don’t realize that they don’t have to wait a specific amount of time to “get over it” time will do nothing to make you feel better. In the Greif Recovery Manual they compare it to a broken bone, time will not fix it. Using the tools in this manual will help to work through the loss, big and small.
