Owner & Therapist
Rose Smith
Rose started working in the mental health field in 2005 after graduating with a BA from Union Institute and University in Brattleboro, VT.
She moved to the west coast in 2007, went back to college for her masters in mental health counseling in 2014, and worked for community mental health while working towards her masters degree. She completed her internship working in community mental health, as well as working with a local woman in private practice.
Rose started learning about the Gottman Method Couples Therapy during her internship and is now Level 3 trained. She is currently working toward certification in the Gottman Method.
Therapist
Joanna Poague
Joanna joins us from Southern Oregon where she has lived for many years. She has experience working in community and forensic mental health and is currently working with adults providing telehealth and in person therapy services.
Her strong desire to help others and create positive change led her to a masters degree in social work at the Ohio State University. She completed her practicum working as a therapist for behavioral health in Siskiyou County.
Joanna has her Associate Social Work license in both Oregon and California and accepts Partnership, Medi-Cal, Jackson Care Connect, OHP Open Card, and cash pay clients.
